Abacavex 300 mg Tablet is used to treat HIV infection. It contains Abacavir, which works by decreasing the amount of HIV in the blood. It also increases the count of CD4 cells, a type of white blood cell that helps the body to fight infections. In some cases, Abacavex 300 mg Tablet may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, and tiredness. It is generally not recommended for use in pregnancy. Avoid breastfeeding while taking this medication. HIV-positive women must not breastfeed as HIV infection can be passed to the baby in breast milk.
